Mexican Geniuses
Mexican Geniuses is an exhibition that celebrates the life and artwork of the famous mexican painters Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. I was in charge of animating a scene titled "Traditions and Folkloric Life of Mexico".
I researched different paintings that were provided, selecting key characters and elements to include.
I then created cutouts and blended important features from each artwork to create an immersive environment
that highlighted the essence of each piece, using Photoshop and After Effects.

Some of the paintings I animated are:
"Carnaval de la vida mexicana" (1936)
"Sueño de una tarde dominical en la Alameda Central" (1947)
"La Piñata" (1953)
"Día de Muertos" (1924)
"Baile en Tehuantepec" (1928)
Detroit Industry Murals (1932-1933)
This animated exhibition was displayed in cities like London and Washington D.C.
